RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Nine UC Riverside student-athletes - four men and five women - were named to the Big West Winter All-Academic Team, it was announced on Tuesday by the Big West. Click here for the full list of Big West All-Academic honorees. 

In order to qualify for the Academic All-Conference honor, a student-athlete must carry a minimum 3.00 cumulative institutional grade point average (GPA), must have completed one full academic year at the member institution prior to the season for which the award is being received, and must have competed in at least 50 percent of the institution's contests in the student-athlete's respective sport.

Included on the men's side were All-Big West First Team honoree Zyon Pullin and Second Team honoree Flynn Cameron, while RyAnne Walters was the lone senior named from UCR's women's team.
