RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Tiffany Le was named Big West Women's Golfer of the Year and First Team All-Big West, it was announced on Tuesday by the conference office.
The sophomore is the first Big West Women's Golfer of the Year in program history.
Le, who earned First Team honors by way of a second place finish at the Big West Championships in Las Vegas, shot a program-record 13 rounds under par in 2022-23 - six of those under 70 - and became the fourth Highlander in program history to record multiple wins in a season after her individual victory at the Fresno State Classic in March.
Le shot a 219 at last weekend's Big West Championship to help UC Riverside claim its second straight top-three finish, vaulting her up the Golfstat national rankings from 155 to 143. She also achieved the program's highest national rating in history at 55, becoming the first Highlander to rank in the top 100 since Jakeishya Le in 2016-17.
She remains the only Highlander in program history with a season scoring average under 73 (72.20) and earned a top-10 finish in eight of her 10 tournaments, including a top-five finish in each of her final five.
The sophomore from Walnut will await her postseason fate on Wednesday morning when Golf Channel airs the NCAA Regional Selection Show at 10:00 a.m. PT.
