RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside landed six women's honorees and nine men's honorees on the MPSF Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team, it was announced on Thursday.
Student-athletes must have a 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average, must be at least a sophomore academically, must have completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season for which the award is received and must have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the student-athlete's respective sport in order to qualify for the MPSF All-Academic Team:
Sean Caster, Joshua Mendoza, Andrew Jackson and Joshua Lee made their second straight appearance on the men's side, while Carolinh Calvert, Shiloh Corrales-Nelson and Delaney Harris were repeaters on the women's side. Podium finishers Saniyah Starks and Collette Lowengrub made their All-Academic debuts.
UC Riverside competed on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8 at the Triton Invitational as hosted by UC San Diego.
