Tiffany Le Makes the Cut at NCAA Championships

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Tiffany Le has made the cut at the NCAA Championships after shooting a 71 (-1) in Sunday's third round at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale.

Le (75-68-71-214) finished fourth overall out of nine individuals on a non-advancing team, and will tee it up on Monday from the back nine at approximately 12:12 p.m. for the final 18 holes of stroke play.

The sophomore was +1 on Sunday after three holes, but responded with three straight birdies on 16, 17 and 18 as Sunday made it back-to-back days with birdies on 16 and 18. The momentum waned briefly with a bogey after the turn on one, but Le parred the remaining eight holes to finish at or under par for the second time this weekend and 18th time this season.

Le averaged an impressive 4.58 on par 5s over 54 holes in Scottsdale and was 2-under at the turn on Sunday, her lowest score on the back nine of the weekend.
