Le Finishes Historic Season at NCAA Championships

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Tiffany Le's historic sophomore season came to a close on Monday at Grayhawk Golf Club after the 2023 Big West Golfer of the Year shot a 71 (-1) to finish at 3-under 285, tying for 14th.

Her 71 (-1) on Sunday as well was enough for her to make the cut for Monday's fourth and final round of individual stroke play, where she carded her third round under par out of four for the weekend.

""What Tiffany has been able to achieve this year is a testament to her hard work and dedication," Director of Golf Mary Ritchie said. "Every part of her game has gotten stronger and her ball-striking is the best I've ever seen from her. I'm proud of Tiffany and grateful for how she's represented UCR on this, the biggest stage in college golf."

Le (75-68-71-71-285) teed it up on the back nine and immediately started strong with a birdie on 11. She parred the next five holes to maintain her consistency before rebounding from a bogey with a birdie on 18. Le struggled after the turn for the second straight day, but set herself up for a determined finish to the round where she birdied seven and eight for the strong finish.

Le tied for second individual on par 5s with a 4.50 stroke average, thanks in part to three of her four birdies on Monday being on par 5 holes.
