Le Stays in Contention at Pullman Regional After Solid Second Round

PULLMAN, Wash. - Tiffany Le posted her third round under par in her last five after shooting a 71 (-1) in Tuesday's second round of the Pullman Regional at the Palouse Ridge. Le, currently in a tie for fifth overall, has now posted a program-record 36-hole score of 136 to remain in contention for the NCAA Championships held at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.Â
With 18 holes remaining, she is four strokes behind the Regional leader and one behind the leader among six individuals. The top individual (not on an advancing team) advances from each regional to Scottsdale.
Le started identical to her stellar Monday first round, bogeying the first hole before shooting for par on her next seven. She ended the front nine with another bogey, but responded with an birdie on 10. The 2023 Big West Women's Golfer of the Year was bogey free on the back nine while carding two more birdies on 14 and 15, just as she did in Monday's late surge up the leaderboard.Â
She will begin round three on Wednesday morning with an 8:55 a.m. tee time on the first hole. Live results available on Golfstat.
