UC Riverside Completes 36 Holes at Nick Watney

FRESNO, Calif. - UC Riverside is through 36 holes at the Nick Watney Invitational at the Fort Washington Country Club in Fresno.Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kamaljit Singh fired a 72 (+1) in round one. The freshman teed off on 14 with a bogey on 15, but finished strong with birdies on three and nine. Singh fired birdies on two of his first three holes in round two.Â
- Nik Kittilson had a strong start and finish to round one with four birdies for a 73 (+2) before going par, birdie, birdie to open round two.
- Josh Hu shot a 74 (+3) to open the day, but fired a 71 (E) in round two and sits in a tie for 47th.Â
HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
- Hu and Kittilson each fired second round scores under par and are in the top 50 on the leaderboard entering Tuesday's final round.Â
- Kittilson's second round was a season low that included five birdies.Â
- UC Riverside is fourth in the 14-team field with 116 pars entering Tuesday's final round.
