RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside displayed one of its best outings of the season on Tuesday afternoon at the SRC Tennis Courts with a 4-0 win over Hope International.   

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• UCR breezed through doubles action with wins at all three courts. Brionna Nguyen and Maya Youssef teamed up for the first time in 2024 and grabbed a 6-2 win at No. 1. Youssef returned to winning ways in doubles, improving to 3-4.  
• Kamya Nair won her first doubles match of the spring with a convincing 6-1 win at No. 2 alongside Crystal Kim.  
• Kim dominated in singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 to move to 5-5 on the year in her first match on court two. Nair was also on her way to an identical win when the Highlanders clinched the match with her in set two.  
• Kei Kato improved to 2-4 on the year with a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 6.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS 

• UCR won its first doubles point of the season on Tuesday with its three wins.  
• Kim has now won back-to-back singles bouts.
