Women’s Tennis Falls at Hawai’i

HONOLULU – UC Riverside (4-17, 0-6 Big West) dropped a 7-0 decision to Hawai'i on Wednesday evening at the UH Tennis Complex. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • Niki Shahbazi and Sydney Tran were unfinished at doubles No. 3.  
  • Kamya Nair forced a third set with a resounding 6-1 win in set two on court four.  
  • Shahbazi and Maya Youssef battled on courts five and two with a pair of 6-3, 6-3 losses. 

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS 

  • Shahbazi and Tran went unfinished for the fifth time this season.
