LAS VEGAS, Nev. - UC Riverside fell to the UNLV Hustlin' Rebels, 16-5, in their midweek road game at Earl E. Wilson Stadium in the Silver State.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• The Highlanders broke onto the scoreboard early with a run in the top of the first inning, after Dominic Martinez and Cole Koniarsky singled to get on base. 
• Most of the damage by UNLV was done in the first two innings, as the Rebels poured in 13 runs in the first two frames. 
• In top of the third, Rocha belted an RBI single to center field to score Martinez, on base from a hit to lead off the inning.
• UNLV offense added a run per inning to their scoreline in the third, fourth and fifth innings. 
• The Highlanders added a pair of runs in the fourth inning with a two-RBI single from Zachary Chamizo. 
• UCR put the final run on the board in the sixth with another RBI single from Rocha. 

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS 

• Cole Koniarsky extended his hitting streak to 21 games going three for four with one run. 
• In addition to Koniarsky, Dominic Martinez and Andrew Rivas both went three for four. Martinez had two runs and Rivas had one run on the day.
• Zachary Chamizo and Bubba Rocha each contributed a pair of RBI's.
