RIVERSIDE, Calif. – UC Riverside men's tennis (4-14, 0-2 Big West) grabbed its first win of April on Saturday afternoon at the SRC Tennis Courts with a 4-0 win over Westmont.  

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• UCR grabbed the doubles point with a pair of 6-1 wins at one and three.  
• Joshua Roth and Justin Lamy secured the win on one, while the newcomer tandem of Lucas Ibarrondo Suarez and Hugo DeGrande locked up the easy win on three.  
• Roth and Lamy each posted straight-set singles wins at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively. 
• DeGrande notched a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles.  
• Aarav Sane, Suarez and Joey Zhou went unfinished in singles. 

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS 

• DeGrande recorded his fifth singles win of the year and third in straight sets.  
• UC Riverside posted its third sweep of 2024.
