NEW ORLEANS – UC Riverside closed out non-conference play and the Pelican Invitational on Saturday morning from Devlin Fieldhouse with a 3-0 sweep of Arkansas Pine Bluff.  

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• UC Riverside hit a blistering .438 in set one to UAPB's .185, setting the tone for what would be a dominant non-conference finale.  
• The Highlanders jumped off on the right foot with a 10-4 lead in set one after back-to-back kills from Mia Delahoussaye forced a UAPB timeout. 
• UCR captured a wire-to-wire set win for the second straight day, leading all through set two while hitting .536. The Highlanders started hot again with an 8-1 lead out of the gate.  
• UC Riverside was forced to battle in set three with a more competitive frame but separated themselves for good with a 6-1 scoring run bookended by two of Carissa Wiles' 10 kills.  

NOTABLES 

• The Highlanders have now won three of their last four entering Big West play.  
• Jessica Dean earned All-Tournament honors after collecting 13 digs in the non-conference finale.  
• UCR enters Big West competition at 5-8 after compiling its most non-conference wins since 2018.  
• McKinley Chase recorded her third consecutive 20-assist match after playing every set at the Pelican Invitational.
