Women’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Schedule

Highlanders to play 12 games at SRC Arena
RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside has announced its 2024-25 women's basketball schedule. Â
The Highlanders, fresh off their first postseason berth since 2016, will play 12 of their 30 games inside the SRC Arena with two of those coming in non-conference play against Whittier (Nov. 8) for the home opener and Idaho (Nov. 20). UC Riverside enters the new season under full time head coach Brad Langston, whose appointment was made official last week. Â
UCR will open the new season at Santa Clara (Nov. 4) prior to the visit from Whittier. Afterwards, the Highlanders will head back out on the road for games at Fresno State (Nov. 11), Boise State (Nov. 14) and Pepperdine (Nov. 18) before returning home to face Idaho. Â
The rest of the non-conference schedule will feature trips to Cal State San Marcos, Saint Mary's, Utah State and 2024 NCAA Tournament participant UNLV. In between Saint Mary's and Utah State will be the first Big Wet Bold Week, where UC Riverside will host CSUN (Dec. 5) and travel to Cal State Fullerton (Dec. 7). Â
UC Riverside will play three of its final four games at the SRC Arena heading into the Big West Championship, concluding the season on March 8 against Cal State Fullerton. Â
