Track & Field Releases 2025 Schedule

Highlanders poised for success in new season

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside has released its track & field schedule for the 2025 indoor and outdoor season.

The Highlanders will compete in 20 meets this spring, including the Big West Championships as hosted by Long Beach State.

"We're excited about our schedule this year," Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Nate Browne said. "We're kicking off the indoor season with all our events at the same meet for the first time in almost a decade. This year's schedule gets our kids most prepared for the conference championships at Long Beach State and the NCAA West Preliminaries in College Station."

Three of UCR's first five meets will take place in the Pacific Northwest. The Highlanders are headed to the UW Invitational (Jan. 31 – Feb. 1) and UW Husky Invite (Feb. 14-15), both hosted by Washington. The final meet in the Evergreen State will be the MPSF Championships (Feb. 21-22) in Spokane before UCR closes February at the RCC Invitational (Feb. 28).

The Highlanders will return to several of their normal stops, including the Ben Brown Invitational (Mar. 7-8), Vince O'Boyle Classic (Feb. 28-29), Mt. SAC Relays (Apr. 16-19) and Steve Scott Invitational (May 2-3).

UCR will host its annual meets again this season, the UCR Spring Track Classic (Mar. 22) and the Chris Rinne Invite (Apr. 25-26). The Highlanders close the regular season at the Oregon State High Performance (May 2-3) and Desert Heat Classic (May 3) before competing for Big West hardware in Long Beach.
