Highlanders Remain in Top-10 After Steady Second Round at Pacific Invitational

STOCKTON, Calif. — The Highlanders remained steady in round two of the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational, carding a 1-over 289 on Friday at The Reserve at Spanos Park.
Stephen Luo led the Highlanders with a 3-under 69, fueled by a duo of birdies on the front nine and an eagle on the 16th hole to climb into the top 20 for the day. Jacob Vazquez followed closely with an even-par 72, while Caden Breisch contributed a 74.
Chanhee Ryu bounced back from a tough opening round with a solid 74, and Samuel Bonzoumet rounded out UCR's scoring with a 77.
The Highlanders' consistent play kept them inside the top 10 as they head into Saturday's final round of the three-day event.
