Men's and Women's Basketball tip off, Women's Volleyball continues postseason pursuit

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside Men's and Women's Basketball tip off on Monday, while Women's Volleyball continues its hunt for a Big West Championship spot. 

MEN'S BASKETBALL
UCR Men's Basketball is back for 2025-26 under first-year head coach Gus Argenal. The Highlanders open a new era on Monday evening at the SRC Arena against La Sierra, then hit the road on Thursday at North Dakota. UC Riverside features seven student-athletes from the Division I transfer portal, including returning sophomore guard Parker Strauss (Northwestern).

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
UC Riverside Women's Basketball begins year two under Brad Langston in enemy territory on Monday evening with a 5:00 pm tip-off at future Big West foe California Baptist in the Crosstown Showdown. UCR continues the season-opening road trip on Thursday at Arizona.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
UC Riverside Women's Volleyball kicks off a four-match road trip this week with visits to Cal State Fullerton (November 7, 6:00 pm) and UC Irvine (November 8, 5:00 pm). Both matches will be streamed live on ESPN+.
