
UC Riverside Falls to UC San Diego on the Road

LA JOLLA, Calif. — Despite a strong first half, the UC Riverside Highlanders could not hold off UC San Diego's second-half surge, falling 91-71 on Thursday night at LionTree Arena. The Highlanders dropped to 15-9 overall and 8-4 in Big West play.

- Isaiah Moses led UC Riverside with a game-high 25 points, shooting 10-for-17 from the field, including five three-pointers.
- Barrington Hargress added 16 points, knocking down two three-pointers and collecting one steal.
- Nate Pickens contributed eight points, three rebounds, and four assists.
- The Highlanders came out strong, leading for much of the first half before UC San Diego took a narrow 46-44 lead into the break.
- UC Riverside struggled to find its rhythm in the second half, shooting 37.9% from the field while UC San Diego shot 51.4% and pulled away in the final 10 minutes.
- Moses' 25 points marked his second-highest scoring output of the season.
- The Highlanders hit 12 three-pointers for the second game in a row.
- UC Riverside returns home to face UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, February 10th, with tip-off set for 7:00 p.m. at the SRC Arena.
