ARIZONA - The Highlanders traveled to Arizona for a pair of matches today against Grand Canyon University and Ottawa University. These were the first two matches that UCR had on the road and they are their only matches outside of California this season.

Grand Canyon 4, UC Riverside 0

• The morning match saw the Highlanders fall to GCU, 4-0. UCR dropped the doubles point, losing 2-0. One match went unfinished, Chloe Vu and Sam Condevillamar's ended 4-5.
• The Highlanders were shut out in singles play with three matches going unfinished: Ramey Yu (3-6, 1-3), Kei Kato (2-6, 1-5) and Crystal Kim's (2-6, 2-5).

UC Riverside 4, Ottawa-Arizona 0

• The Highlanders took the doubles point to start the match. Kato, Yu and Condevillamar all won their singles matches.

• The Highlanders get the day off tomorrow and are back at it on Friday when Cal Poly comes to town for UCR's third Big West match up. First serve is at 11 a.m.
