Highlanders Fall to Mustangs

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Highlanders welcomed Big West Conference foe, Cal Poly to the SRC Tennis Courts for a mid-day match. The Mustangs entered today with an 8-2 record and UCR is back home after splitting matches with GCU and Ottawa University in Arizona earlier this week.

- The Mustangs took the doubles point to start the match. They won 6-0, 6-0, with Niki Shahbazi and Chloe Vu's match going unfinished.
- The singles competition was a clean sweep for Cal Poly. Sam Condevillamar's match was went to a third set tie break: 0-6, 7-5, 0-1 (5-10).Â
- No rest for the Highlanders as they take on Colorado State tomorrow at the SRC. Match time is 11:00 a.m. against the Rams. This will be UCR's fourth match in as many days.
