RIVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Riverside hosted Cal State Fullerton on Senior Day at the SRC Arena on Saturday, taking the 61-51 win on Senior Day. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• UCR and Cal State Fullerton traded offensive firepower in the first half. The Highlanders shot 46% in the second quarter and 35.7% in the first, while Fullerton recorded a 41.7% clip in the first compared to just 30.8% in the second.  
• The lead for either team was no higher than four for the first half until Hannah Wickstrom's jumper inside the final minute of the second quarter gave UCR a five-point edge at the intermission.  
• Wickstrom led all scorers with 11 points in the 20 minutes as part of a balanced first-half scoring effort for UC Riverside.  
• Esther Matarranz grabbed six rebounds in the first half to begin her final home game. 
• The Highlanders went on a 9-4 run early in the third quarter  
• UC Riverside got out to its largest lead yet at 11 points inside a minute remaining in the third, thanks to a Wickstrom free throw.  

NOTABLES 

• Wickstrom and Seneca Hackley combined for 31 points on 9-of-18 shooting. 
• UCR held the Titans to 1 of 8 from three for the afternoon.  
• UC Riverside ends the regular season on a four-game win streak.
