LA QUINTA, Calif. — The UC Riverside Highlanders completed the second round of the Big West Championship at La Quinta Country Club, improving by five strokes with a 299 (+11) to take their team score to 603 (+27).

- Stephen Luo led the way with an even-par 72, climbing into a tie for 38th at +5 overall. Luo closed the round tallying an impressive seven birdies.
- Liam Hartling posted a 75 (+3) in round two, highlighted by three birdies in a row on holes 5,6, and 7.
- Von Wasson bounced back with a 76 (+4), moving into a tie for 55th at +10.
- Hartej Grewal also shot 76 (+4) and is 57th at +11 through two rounds.
- Chanhee Ryu recorded a 77 (+5), now tied for 53rd at +8 overall.
