COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Highlanders wrapped up its opening round at the Eisenhower Golf Course, carding a team score of 20-over par.
Chanhee Ryu led the way with a steady 2-over 74, highlighted by an even-par front nine and a strong closing stretch. Stephen Luo followed closely behind with a 75, while Benton Sullivan posted a 79. Landon Breisch and Caden Breisch each turned in rounds of 80 to round out the Highlander scoring.
UC Riverside now shifts focus to a busy 36-hole Sunday, where the Highlanders will look to climb the leaderboard with two opportunities to post low numbers.
