EUGENE, Ore. – For the second time in as many days the Highlanders took on the Ducks. UCR put up a fight, but dropped their second match this season, 7-0.
How it happened:
- The Highlanders dropped the doubles point, 2-0. Ivaylo Simeonov and Owen Pearson's doubles match went unfinished.
- In singles competition Michael Chang dropped a tough one 4-6, 4-6 to Will Semler.
- Simeonov dropped his singles match to Pierre Mouesca 3-6, 3-6.
Up next is the home opener against Sacramento State. That match will be on Wednesday, January 14 at 9 am followed up with a second match against the Hornets at 2 pm.
