RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Highlanders welcomed the Nevada Wolfpack to the SRC Tennis Courts for a Monday matinee. This was their final home match before heading to Las Vegas for the UNLV Quad.
The Wolfpack proved to be too much and topped the Highlanders, 7-0.
How it happened:
- UCR lost the doubles point, 3-0
- Owen Pearson took his match to three sets, 7-6 (7-1), 2-6, 2-6
- Andrew Lavine saw his match go to three sets and nearly came through in the third set, 4-6, 6-3, 0-1 (9-11)
The Highlanders will take on UNLV, New Mexico State and Weber State this weekend in Las Vegas.
