RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Highlanders hosted Long Beach State this afternoon at the SRC for their second conference match this week. After falling to Cal State Fullerton on Tuesday, UCR looked to get in the win column against the Beach, but fell 5-2.

- The Highlanders dropped the doubles point. The match featuring Crystal Kim and Susannah Su went unfinished. They were leading 5-3 at the time.
- In singles competition, Su won her first match as a Highlander defeating Pamela Badillo, 6-3, 6-4.Â
- Ramey Yu improved to 3-1 in singles competition with a three set thriller beating Cecilia Costa 6-3, 0-6, 6-2.Â
