EUGENE, Ore. - The Highlanders traveled up to Oregon for a pair of matches this weekend. It started today with a 5-2 win over Seattle University for UCR's second win of the year.
How it happened:
- The Highlanders dropped the doubles point, 2-1. Crystal Kim and Susannah Su won their doubles match 6-4 over Daria Nazarenko and Larissa Teramura.
- In singles competition Kei Kato took her match in straight sets, 7-5, 6-1.
- Su took care of her opponent Lola Tavcar in straight sets 6-2, 6-1.
- Katarina Curcic won in straight sets beating Daria Nazarenko 6-2, 6-4.
- Camile Li won in straight sets topping Maija Tamura, 6-1, 6-2
- Ramey Yu won a three set thriller over Natalia Michta 7-6 (7-5), 2-6, 1-0 (10-6).
