SAN JACINTO, Calif. — The Highlanders placed third at the Soboba Spring Classic, highlighted by two Highlanders finishing inside the top 10 individually at The Country Club at Soboba Springs.

The Highlanders carded rounds of 317, 302 and 294 to post a three-round total of 913, improving their team score each day and closing the tournament with their best round in the finale.

Janna Andaya led UC Riverside, tying for fifth at 9-over 225 after rounds of 73, 79 and 73. Mitzi Duarte joined her in the top 10, tying for eighth at 10-over 226 and finishing strong with a 2-under 70 in the final round.

Ivy Kim followed closely with a tie for 11th at 13-over 229, while Lauren Lee tied for 27th at 237. Maleyna Gregorio rounded out the Highlander lineup with a 241 total.

The Highlanders return to the golf course Monday, Febuary 9th as they open the San Diego State Classic.
