NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - UC Riverside headed up to Northridge to take on CSUN in a morning match. This was the first of the final three conference matches for the Highlanders before The Big West Tennis Championship in late April. The Matadors took the match, 6-1.
How it happened
- CSUN secured the doubles point, 2-0. The match featuring Camile Li and Susannah Su went unfinished, 3-4.
- In singles competition the lone Highlanders' point came from Kei Kato who topped Emma Moratalla Sanz, 6-4, 6-4.
- Ramey Yu was able to force a third set, but fell, 4-6, 6-2, 0-6.
- Crystal Kim also forced a third set, but fell 2-6, 6-2, 1-6.
Next up for UC Riverside is Biola University on April 7. Match starts at 2:30PM from the SRC Tennis Courts. This will be the final home tennis match of the season for the women's tennis team.Â
