SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Big West Championship started today at the Barnes Tennis Center and UC Riverside took on Cal State Fullerton in a midday match up. The Titans entered the tournament as the No. 3 seed and the Highlanders entered as the No. 10. It was a hard fought match but UC Riverside ultimately fell, 4-0.
How it happened
- The Titans took the doubles point to start things off winning 2-0. One match ended unfinished which featured the pairing of Crystal Kim and Sam Condevillamar. They trailed 5-2 at the conclusion.
- In singles competition the Titans won three matches to take the day.Â
- Kei Kato, Ramey Yu and Susannah Su all had their matches go unfinished.
