ARICOPA, Ariz. — UC Riverside women's golf wrapped up competition at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classi which featured a nationally competitive field that included several Power Five programs, on April 7 at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club.
The Highlanders finished 17th in a strong 20-team field with a three-round total of 910 after posting rounds of 309, 300 and 301.
Mitzi Duarte led UC Riverside with a tie for 25th at 3-over-par 219. Duarte opened with a 75 before delivering the Highlanders' lowest round of the tournament with a 69 in the second round and closing with a 75.
Lauren Lee followed with a 74th-place finish at 12-over 228 after rounds of 75, 77 and 76. Janna Andaya finished 84th at 231, while Maleyna Gregorio tied for 85th at 232 and Ivy Kim rounded out the Highlander lineup at 243.
Iowa State captured the team title with a tournament-record 17-under-par 838, led by individual medalist Nichakorn Pinprayoon, who finished at 17-under 199.
