2008 Finished sixth on the team in batting average, tied for third in hits, second in doubles, third in home runs, second in runs batted in, third in slugging percentage and fourth in on base percentage . . . Was the team's starting first baseman and also served as the DH throughout the early portion of the year . . . Posted 10 two-hit games on the season . . .
