Cody Yates serves as the Highlander baseball program's director of operations.
Yates played his high school ball at Corona Centennial for Tim Klevano, graduating in 2010. He pitched at Cal State Dominguez Hills for four years and graduated with a degree in business administration.
After graduation, he became an associate scout for the Angels under Dan Cox, then transitioned to the same position for the Toronto Blue Jays. In 2015, he accepted a job at Hope International University as the Recruiting Coordinator and Pitching Coach under head coach Erich Pfohl.
