Kameryn Hebenton joined the UC Riverside Softball staff as a volunteer assistant coach in the fall of 2011 following her four-year career at short stop for the Highlanders.
As a senior, Hebenton was named to the All-Big West Second Team while ranking among the conference leaders in seven categories. She led UC Riverside in on base percentage, stolen bases, steal attempts and walks that year, and posted career-highs in batting average, runs, hits, RBI, home runs, slugging percentage and on base percentage.
Hebenton ended her playing days ranked first in UC Riverside Division I career history in stolen bases and steal attempts. She also ranked among the top-10 in 16 other categories.
Hebenton prepped at Beaumont High School where she was a four-year letter winner in tennis, basketball and softball.
