Raina Perez

Raina Perez enters her second year as an assistant coach with UC Riverside Women's Basketball in 2024-25. 

In her first year at UCR, Perez helped orchestrate the best single-season turnaround in program history and lead UC Riverside to its first postseason appearance since 2015-16. 

Perez played two years at NC State and two years at Cal State Fullerton in her college career, being named a Lieberman Award finalist and All-ACC Honorable Mention in 2020-21 and an All-ACC Academic Team member in 2021-22. 

Perez was named the 2019-20 Big West Player of the Year at Cal State Fullerton after being name an All-Big West Honorable Mention selection a year prior. 

Perez signed a WNBA training camp contract with the Seattle Storm after her time at NC State, playing in one preseason game for the Storm.
