UCR's Paul Bargas Named Big West Pitcher of the Week

Junior left hander Paul Bargas drew the start for UC Riverside Friday evening against the No. 1 team in the nation in Cal State Fullerton, and he didn't disappoint. The Riverside native scattered nine hits over his eight-plus inning pitched, allowing just one run in the Highlanders' 3-1 win. For that he was named the Big West Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday, March 30.
