UCR Women's Soccer Season Ends With 2-0 Loss At Pacific

Stockton, CA—The UC Riverside Women's Soccer season came to a close Sunday afternoon in a 2-0 loss at Pacific.
The Tigers offense was the story in the first half as they outshot the Highlanders 10-1 in the period including Kim Hargraves' strike from 25 yards out which found its way over UCR keeper Jessica White for a 1-0 Pacific lead.
The Highlanders evened up the play in the second outshooting the Tigers 8-7, but Pacific's Renae McFadden was the lone player to find the back of the net in the final 45 minutes as her header bounced off the crossbar and into the goal in the 70th minute of play.
Candis Novis had an opportunity to put UCR on the board with 15:10 remaining in the match, when the Tigers were called for a hand ball in the box. Pacific keeper Jill Medigovich came up with the save on the panelty kick however to keep the score at 2-0.
White was credited with six saves on the day increasing her conference-leading total to 104.
