Eight Sign National Letters Of Intent To Play Baseball At UC Riverside

Riverside—UC Riverside Head Baseball Coach Doug Smith announced today that eight high school student-athletes have signed National Letters of Intent to play baseball for the Highlanders beginning in the fall of 2011.
Antonio Gonzales
Antonio Gonzales is a left-handed pitcher from Damien High School ... A three-year varsity player, he was named All-League as a junior.
Cody Dill is a right-handed pitcher from Los Osos High School ... Named All League as a junior.
Cody Rogina
Cody Rogina is a left-handed pitcher out of Los Osos High School who also was named All-CIF in football as a junior.

Drake Zarate is a catcher/utility player from Norco High School ... He was named All-League as both a sophomore and junior and Fox Sports Net named him on of their scholar athletes for 2010.
