Cox scored a career-high 27 points for the Highlanders in the Big West Conference Basketball Tournament Championship game on Mar. 13, lifting UCR to its third NCAA Tournament in five years.
The fifth-year senior from Perris, CA earned the distinction of Big West Tournament MVP for her efforts in the Highlanders three-game run to the Big Dance.
Cox also becomes the only UCR women's basketball player to earn three Big West Tournament championships and participate in three NCAA tournaments, as she was a member of the Highlanders squad in 2006 and 2007 that went dancing.
Anheuser-Busch congratulates Cox for demonstrating that RESPONSIBILITY REALLY DOES MATTER!
