The game's only goal came at 67:24 of the second half when freshman Tiffany Scheibley scored the first goal of her UCI career of a header inside the box.
UCR goalkeeper Kristin Cocks had nine saves for the Highlanders, facing 18 shots. The Highlanders managed six shots against Anteater goalkeeper Chelsea McCarthy, who earned her second shutout of the season.
