Northridge, CA - After rallying back from a 2-0 deficit to force a fifth set, the UC Riverside volleyball team could not close out the match falling 3-2 at Cal State Northridge on Saturday night in Big West Conference action.
The Matadors (10-10, 4-4) won the first two sets 25-20 and 25-18, but the Highlanders (5-17, 2-6) won the next two 25-22 and 26-24 to force a fifth set. In the last frame, however, CSUN took an early lead and held on for the 15-8 victory.
