MEET THE NEWCOMERS: Women's Basketball Guard Akilah Martin

Riverside—UC Riverside women's basketball guard Akilah Martin joins the Highlanders after a four-year career for Coach Leonard De Coud at John W. North High School.
She helped the Huskies to a 31-6 record her senior season, and the team won the So Cal Regional Championship and was the state runner-up.
The biology major also lettered in cross country where she was named All-League.
