White Named Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport Of The Month

Riverside—Anheuser-Busch has teamed up with the UC Riverside Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and chosen women's soccer player Jessica White as the November recipient of the "Budweiser Responsibility Matters Good Sport of the Month." White was instrumental in the Highlanders picking up their first points and victories of the conference season, as she recorded 13 saves against first-place Cal Poly in a 1-1 tie (box score/recap/video highlights), and stopped a penalty kick in 1-0 win over UC Santa Barbara (box score/recap/video highlights) to preserve the victory.
The 13 saves are the second most in the history of the program, and White finished her Highlanders career ranked second in minutes played and shutouts and third in goals against average and wins.
Anheuser-Busch congratulates White for demonstrating that RESPONSIBILITY REALLY DOES MATTER!
