Women's Golf Sits Seventh At Big West Championships With One Round To Go

San Luis Obispo, CA—The UC Riverside Women's Golf Team remained in seventh place on Monday afternoon firing a 322 second-round score at the Big West Conference Championship at San Luis Obispo Country Club.
The Highlanders 644 two-round total puts them 15 strokes off the nearest team, Cal Poly, at 629.
UC Davis shot seven-over-par on Tuesday to take the lead over UC Irvine, 600 to 602, while Long Beach State is third at 611.
Brittani Ferraro continued to pace UC Riverside individually shooting a 78 on Tuesday to tie for 12th overall with a 155. Amelia Ek is just a stroke back and is tied for 18th with a 156 (78-78).
Savannah Vilaubi fired a 79 on Tuesday to go along with her first-round 80 to tie for 26th with a 159. Christy Fogerty and Denyse Neville are in 34th and 35th place respectively with totals of 174 and 175.
UC Davis' Bev Vatananugulkit is the leader by one stroke with a two-round, three-over-par 147.
The tournament concludes on Tuesday with a final 18-hole round beginning with tee times at 7:30 am.
