Riverside—UC Riverside volleyball player Tyler Dorsey returns to the Inland Empire for her junior campaign this year, and we here at gohighlanders.com got to know her a little better this summer via our Highlander Highlights series.

Tyler ...
   ... is from La Puenta, California.
      ... would not be caught dead at Disneyland.
         ... wants to learn to cook or speak chinese.
            ... is a sociology major.
               ... is an only child.
                  ... loves to write poetry.
                     ... has three phobias:
                                        gum (chiclephobia)
                                   bacon (otronica)
                                                and spider webs (araneophobia).
Tyler's motto is "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Five years from now, she hopes to be an FBI agent living in one of the Carolinas.
One thing Tyler loves most about herself is her integrity.
If she could witness any event, she would want to witness the "I Have a Dream" speech by Martin Luther King, Jr.
Tyler's favorite quote is, "The man who has no imagination has no wings."
