Riverside—- UC Riverside volleyball player Ashley Cox is a rising sophomore outside hitter, and gohighlanders.com got to know her a little better this summer via our Highlander Highlights series.

Ashley ...
   ... is nicknamed "Smoosh"
      ... is from Irvine, CA
         ... loves all food
            ... loves to eat food
... loves to eat some more
Ashley believes the secret to a great life is hard work.
If she could have any superpower, Ashley would want the ability to eat anything and not gain weight.
Ashley lists her greatest achievement as making her mommy proud.
Her favorite quote is "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog."
If Ashley could witness any event, she would want to witness the Martin Luther King Jr. era.
Her one phobia is feet (podophobia) because she thinks they are hideous.
Keep your eyes peeled all year long for additional Highlander Highlights, and get to know more about the current crop of UC Riverside's student-athletes.
To support Ashley and the rest of the student-athletes that make up our 17 intercollegiate sports, please donate to the UC Riverside Athletics Association by visiting the Association's web site.
