Riverside—Well, UC Riverside's men's basketball Highlanders can claim to be national champions.
Oh, you had to ask which nation, didn't you?
The Highlanders ran the table on a three-game exhibition tour of British Columbia that finished up Monday. And while we can't expect they'll be playing "O Canada" before home games at the Rec Center as their lucky song, their trip to the Vancouver area was productive in ways that may be evident long after that preseason tour is forgotten.
