Honolulu, HI - The UC Riverside Volleyball Team dropped its Big West Conference opener to #6 Hawai'i Sunday evening by the scores of 25-7, 25-13, and 25-15.
Ashley Cox led the Highlanders (1-12, 0-1) with nine kills while Annishia McKoy added seven. Emily Hartong led the Rainbow Wahine (13-1, 2-0) with 12 kills.
The Highlanders now return to the Inland Empire for their first home match of the season this Friday, October 4 against Cal State Northridge beginning at 7:30 pm PT at the SRC Arena.
