Palm Desert, CA—The UC Riverside Men's Golf Team moved up two spots Saturday at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, firing a 293 to place 19th out of 23 squads. Full Results. Day 1 Story.
UCR shot 300 in the first round on Friday, and its 593 total is three shots ahead of a two-way tie for 20th, and seven back of a tie for 11th place.
Oregon moved up one spot to lead the team competition, outsting Colorado by just a stroke, 555 to 556.
David Gazzolo is the Highlanders top scorer, tying for 12th overall with rounds of 70-70 (140).
Pachara Sakulyong and Leven Simon Seay are one stroke apart from each other at 151 and 152 respectively to tie for 81st and 94th.
Jason Semthiti and Brandon Tsujimoto round out the team tied for 112th place with identical 156 totals.
