Riverside—UC Riverside Baseball Left-Handed Pitcher Ben Doucette is in his senior season with the blue and gold, and we here at gohighlanders.com got to know him a little better this spring via our Highlander Highlights series.

... graduated from UCR last spring and is now attending UCR's Master of Finance program
... wants to learn how to line dance

... is the only child of four in his family to have green eyes
If Ben could witness any event, he would want to witness the Wall Street Crash of 1929. In five years from now he hopes to be a financial analyst for a major league baseball corporation.
Ben met Rob Schneider when he was filming a movie at his high school. His worst injury caused him to have ulnar nerve relocation surgery during his freshman year.
What Ben misses most from his childhood is how simple life was.
