UC Riverside's Vince Fernandez Named WCL Player Of The Week

UC Riverside's Vince Fernandez, playing this summer for the Yakima Valley Pippins, was named West Coast League Player of the Week for July 7-13. Fernandez went 15-for-29 with 8 runs scored, 6 doubles, a triple, a home run and 10 RBIs for the first-place Pippins who went 6-1 for the week. Vince's on base percentage for the week was .588.
